Core Responsibilities
- High collaboration with Technical and Business Process teams to design, document, and obtain approval for integration designs between various SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite with hands-on development of interfaces.
- Expertise in the BTP Sub account, Security-user roles required for SAP CI, Cloud connector, Destination Services, API Management, and SAP BTP Cloud Transport management.
- Guide the team to implement the best-in-class interfaces and stay up to date with the latest features provided by SAP.
- Articulate the best Practices in Integration within the team and as well to the multiple Solution Architects across all the solutions.
- Collaborate with Team members, Solution Architects, and Stakeholders to ensure the integration delivery is in place.
- Collaborate with BASIS, Infra, and Security teams for seamless integration setup and work with Compliance tasks and questions.
- Contributes to the team's long-term technical roadmap while helping mentor members of the engineering team
Technical Skills
- Hands-on development experience with the following SAP applications/components:
- SAP CI, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP PI/PO 7.5
- Experience integrating custom and package products across complex enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience in Mapping (Graphical, Java, and XSLT).
- Hands-on experience in the configuration of adapters like JMS, SOAP, IDOC, Proxy, SFTP, File, and other Technical adapters.
- Experience in Groovy Script and Java programming.
- Experience in using the Cloud Integration Monitor application to manage integration artifacts and security content and to monitor message processing.
- Working understanding of security standards including SAML, mTLS, oAuth, and OpenID Connect.
- Knowledge of connecting Edge Integration Cell runtime to the cloud at regular intervals to synchronize data, such as deployed artifacts that are required to reliably operate integration scenarios.
- Familiarity with web services including REST, SOAP, and OData APIs.
- Knowledge of transport management with CTS+, ChaRM, and Cloud ALM tool.
