Job Description

Deliver state-of-the-art Data Center automation solutions by designing, deploying, and managing VXLAN/EVPN Clos fabric networks in a vendor-agnostic manner. This role leverages advanced automation technologies to replace manual and bespoke network design and operational tasks, ensuring customers benefit from efficient, reliable, and automated network infrastructures.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as an Individual Contributor and Technical Lead for significant network deployments and migrations.
  • Run requirements and scoping workshops with customers, delivery partners, and sales teams.
  • Deliver Professional Services milestones, including creating high-level and low-level network design documentation, migration planning, product integration, and acceptance.
  • Follow Juniper Professional Services engagement and delivery processes in coordination with Project Managers.
  • Work closely with colleagues and customer teams to test, design, and plan deployments of new products and features.
  • Support networks during early deployment stages and formulate network management strategies.
  • Act as project leader on larger Professional Services engagements, coordinating the delivery team and owning responsibility for overall network implementation.
  • Provide training (Knowledge Transfer workshops) to Juniper Networks partners and customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer technical management and teams.
  • Participate in requirements gathering workshops, discussions, and design, test, or engineering meetings.
  • Provide input on best practices in design, implementation, migration planning, and validation & verification testing.
  • Assist with hand-over to Operations or Juniper Networks Operational RE teams.
  • Track and report issues discovered during testing, implementation, and migration.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise, telco, or content provider Data Center environments.
  • Strong hands-on and planning experience with advanced Data Center technologies such as VXLAN, EVPN, MCLAG, and IP Fabric.
  • Deep knowledge of IP protocols, including IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, RSVP, LDP, QoS solutions, and IPv6 standards/protocols.
  • Familiarity with DC fabric SDN/management/orchestration tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux servers and network services (DHCP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP, DNS, NTP).
  • Familiarity with Linux, Python, and version control systems such as Git.
  • Commitment to delivering a remarkable customer experience and a mature customer-first mindset.

Desirable Skills:

  • JUNOS skills and hands-on planning capabilities with QFX, EX, and MX Series products.
  • Basic knowledge of data structures, algorithms, HTTP/REST APIs.
