Production Testing Leader

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the production testing operations of Electrical submersible pumps and motor , ensuring that all testing activities meet defined quality, performance, and safety and relevant IS standard standards. Responsible for the coordination, calibration, troubleshooting, and optimization of test procedures, equipment, and teams to achieve production targets and ensure reliable product performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Testing Operations & Execution

Plan, schedule, and supervise all production testing activities for submersible units (motors, pumps, etc.).

Ensure all testing is performed according to approved procedures, specifications, and customer requirements.

Review and validate test reports, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

Troubleshoot test failures and coordinate with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.

2. Team Management

Lead a team of test engineers, technicians, and operators.

Assign daily testing tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance.

Conduct regular training on safety, testing standards, and new equipment.

3. Equipment & Infrastructure Management

Ensure all test benches, tanks, instrumentation, and measuring devices are properly maintained and calibrated.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance test efficiency and accuracy.

Maintain a preventive maintenance schedule for all testing equipment.

4. Quality & Compliance

Ensure testing complies with internal and external standards

Maintain traceability of test results and ensure documentation is audit-ready.

Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for test failures or non-conformances.

5. Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with production, design, and quality teams for specification finalisation and continuous improvement.

Prepare daily/weekly testing performance reports and KPIs.

Participate in new product development testing and validation trials.

6. Safety & Environment

Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe testing environment (especially for electrical and hydro testing).

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations for water, oil, and waste disposal.
