RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Excellence & Production Systems
- Lead the implementation of a structured production system to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and energy performance at plant level.
- Act as the focal point for production system deployment, ensuring alignment with business priorities and operational targets.
- Coordinate, deliver, and facilitate capabilitydevelopment activities, including training, coaching, and operationalexcellence workshops.
- Monitor progress against defined KPIs and support plants inclosing performance gaps through structured improvement actions.
Sustainability & Continuous Improvement
- Drive sustainability initiatives with a focus on energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and resource optimization.
- Facilitate cross‑functional improvement programs using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem solving.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute high‑impact efficiencyand sustainability projects that deliver measurable business value.
- Track and analyze performance data using digital analytic stools and production databases.
Projects & Engineering
- Lead and support capital projects from concept development through engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover to operations.
- Ensure project execution meets internal engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and site safety codes.
- Manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with operations, maintenance, and contractors.
- Support process improvement, debottlenecking, and plant modification projects in operating facilities.
Technical Support & Collaboration
- Provide technical and operational expertise to manufacturing teams across multiple sites.
- Support process troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and implementation of sustainable technical solutions.
- Share best practices and lessons learned across sites to strengthen overall manufacturing performance and competitiveness.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Production & Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Extensive experience in chemical manufacturing, including continuous and batch processes in specialty chemicals or petrochemical environments.
- Proven hands‑on experience in operational excellence / production system implementation at plant level.
- Practical knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma.
- Experience driving sustainability and energy‑efficiency initiatives in manufacturing operations.
- Track record in capital improvement, debottlenecking, and safety‑related projects within operating plants.
- Strong understanding of process safety, DCS‑based plant operation, and permit‑to‑work systems.
- Experience using digital production analytics and reporting tools (e.g.OEE dashboards, Power BI, or equivalent).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional plant and engineering teams.
