Job Title: Lead IT Operations/Support (Night Shift Lead-in Rotation)
Location: Andheri, Mumbai
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or in related field.
Experience:
6+ year of experience in handling financial critical system operation for Exchange, Clearing Corporation or banking industry
Preferred Domains:
Stock or Commodity Exchange / Broking Firms, IT enabled services / Banking / Financial / etc
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee production systems during night shifts, ensuring smooth operations and prompt response to incidents.
- Execute End-of-Day (EOD) and Beginning-of-Day (BOD) job processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Coordinate DC and DR failover activities, ensuring the availability and reliability of critical systems.
- System patching activities, ensuring that all systems are up-to-date with the latest security and functionality updates.
- Collaborate with different teams, including development, infrastructure, and support teams and business team, to address and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Prepare and share comprehensive periodic status reports detailing the performance, incidents, and improvements made during the week.
- Manage and administer Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance, security and availability.
- Evaluation and performance optimisation of the system.
- Collaboration with Software vendor and OEMs
Preferred Skills
- Experience with EOD/BOD job handling and managing DC, DR failover activities.
- System patching processes and coordination with different teams.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in managing Linux systems.
- Basic understanding of database systems (DB2)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
