Production Support(java springboot+AWS)

Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities: Production Stability & Incident Management - Own L2/L3 production support for Java Spring Boot services, ensuring high availability and rapid recovery. - Triage incidents, perform impact analysis, coordinate war rooms, and drive timely resolution within SLAs. - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring issues. Application & Platform Troubleshooting - Diagnose issues across application, API, and infrastructure layers using logs, traces, and metrics. - Debug Spring Boot applications, analyze thread dumps/heap behavior when needed, and address performance bottlenecks. - Collaborate with development teams to propose code fixes, configuration changes, and safe rollout plans. AWS Operations & Reliability - Support workloads running on AWS, ensuring secure access, stable deployments, and reliable integrations with AWS services. - Improve observability by tuning alerts/dashboards and defining actionable monitoring for critical customer journeys. Operational Excellence - Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, knowledge articles, and incident postmortems. - Drive continuous improvement through problem management, automation opportunities, and release/change readiness checks. - Mentor junior support engineers and promote best practices in troubleshooting and incident handling. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/IT or related field (BTECH, BCA, MCA, MTECH). - 8-10 years of experience in Production Support / Application Support for enterprise applications. - Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot in production environments. - Working experience supporting applications on AWS, including troubleshooting cloud-based deployments and services. - Strong understanding of incident management, RCA, and operational processes with excellent communication skills.
