Role Responsibilities
- Provide expert support for production applications running on Java and Spring Boot.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in real-time.
- Work closely with development teams to manage application deployments and upgrades.
- Identify, document, and resolve production incidents in a timely manner.
- Engage in root cause analysis to uncover and resolve recurring issues.
- Perform routine database management and SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
- Implement performance tuning measures to enhance application responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless application integration.
- Document support processes and create knowledge base articles for future reference.
- Assist in scheduling and conducting regular maintenance windows.
- Maintain accuracy in configuration management and incident tickets.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed for emergency support.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance support efficiency.
- Educate end-users on best practices for system usage and error prevention.
- Prepare reports on support metrics for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in production support roles.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming and Spring Boot framework.
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Proficient in SQL and database management.
- Experience with application monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Solid understanding of application architecture and deployment processes.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexible to work in different shifts as needed.
- Certification in relevant technologies is a plus.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage concurrent tasks effectively.
