Job Title: Production Support Engineer – Java/.NET

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 3–8 Years

CTC: Up to 12–18 LPA (Based on Experience)

Industry: IT

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Production Support Engineer with experience in Java/.NET technologies to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of critical applications. The role involves monitoring, incident management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high availability and stability of production applications through proactive monitoring and support.
  • Handle incident management (P2–P5) including triage, troubleshooting, and resolution; support P1 incidents under guidance.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
  • Monitor application and infrastructure health using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, or similar platforms.
  • Collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams to improve automation and reduce manual interventions.
  • Maintain and update runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base documentation.
  • Support L1/L2 activities and assist in L3-level investigations.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and ensure adherence to SLAs.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding incidents, impact, and resolution status.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Core Java or .NET technologies
  • Experience with Linux/Unix commands
  • Hands-on experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
  • Familiarity with platforms such as IBM OpenShift, Azure, or Windows/Linux environments
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, or similar
  • Exposure to ticketing tools such as ServiceNow and tracking tools like Rally
  • Knowledge of batch scheduling tools like ESP or equivalent

Good to Have:

  • Understanding of SRE/DevOps practices
  • Experience with automation and scripting
  • Knowledge of observability concepts (logs, metrics, alerts)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 production support environment
