Production Support Engineer I

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to Operations on products via Escalated incidents
• Perform advanced problem analysis and isolate problems of a complex level of difficulty
• Monitor and Troubleshoot applications in production servers hosted on AWS
• Work with cross functional teams and external vendors as needed
• Work to develop internal tools and automation
• Publish articles in our in-house knowledgebase
• Able to learn a wide variety of technologies at a rapid pace
• Willing to work in rotational shifts (Including Weekends), primarily night shifts
• Understanding of company mission and corporate objectives and ability to apply this knowledge within the company while working on incidents

Skills Requirements

• Experience with one or more scripting languages (Bash, Python, JavaScript, Powershell, etc.)
• Experience with using monitoring tools like Datadog, Kibana, etc.
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL or other Relational Databases
• Knowledge of Docker containers and Kubernetes
• Basic knowledge of Object Oriented Programming
• Experience in managing troubleshooting issues in Cloud environment, AWS
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like DynamoDB
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts
• Exposure to working in an Agile/Scrum environment
