Job Description

Role Summary

The Production/Application Support Engineer is responsible for providing L2 support for enterprise applications and Linux servers. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents using APM tools while ensuring 24*7 application uptime and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2 production support for enterprise applications.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers at a moderate level of expertise.
  • Monitor application performance using APM tools such as Grafana, Splunk, or Datadog.
  • Respond to production incidents, investigate root causes, and implement fixes.
  • Ensure 24*7 uptime and performance of critical business applications.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve production issues.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for incident escalation and resolution.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • L2 Production/Application Support experience.
  • Linux server administration expertise (moderate level).
  • Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools Grafana, Splunk, Datadog preferred.
