Production Supervisor

We are seeking a Production Supervisor with a strong sports background (preferably cricket) who understands the technical and performance aspects of cricket bats. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day factory operations, ensure production efficiency, maintain quality standards, and manage workforce coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise end-to-end cricket bat production (cleft selection to final finishing)

Monitor willow grading, moisture control, pressing, shaping, and finishing processes

Ensure consistent bat profile standards (weight distribution, balance, pickup, sweet spot positioning)

Manage production planning, daily targets, and workforce allocation

Maintain strict quality control benchmarks

Reduce wastage and improve yield efficiency

Coordinate with procurement for raw material planning

Maintain machinery upkeep and safety compliance

Train and guide factory workers on best manufacturing practices

Work closely with sales/brand team to align production with market demand

Candidate Requirements

Mandatory

Sports background (Cricket preferred player, coach, or strong technical understanding)

Minimum 35 years experience in manufacturing supervision (sports goods preferred)

Understanding of cricket bat specifications and performance parameters

Strong leadership and workforce management skills

Basic knowledge of inventory management and production planning

Preferred

Experience in English Willow processing

Knowledge of bat pressing techniques and moisture calibration

Familiarity with international bat quality standards
