Production Supervisor/ Shift In-charge

We are hiring a Production Supervisor / Shift In-Charge for our manufacturing unit.

Our company manufactures HVAC Fans and Centrifugal Fans, supplying to all the leading OEM customers across India. We are looking for a hands-on engineer to supervise shop-floor operations in our centrifugal fan manufacturing and assembly department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage shift-wise production of centrifugal fans, including fabrication and assembly

• Supervise sheet metal processes including blanking, punching, bending, forming and fabrication

• Ensure achievement of production targets, productivity and timely dispatch

• Take complete ownership of quality-related issues on the shop floor

• Ensure all required incoming, in-process and final inspections are carried out as per defined standards

• Maintain and ensure completion of quality and production documentation, inspection reports, check sheets and records

• Analyse rejections, identify root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions

• Ensure proper assembly, alignment and quality of centrifugal fan components

• Coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance

• Supervise operators, allocate manpower and ensure shop-floor discipline and safety

• Monitor production output, rejection, downtime and process efficiency and report the same to Plant Management

Candidate Profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering

• 3–4 years of manufacturing experience

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication, press shop operations, HVAC manufacturing or rotating equipment assembly preferred

• Good understanding of production processes, quality inspection and documentation

• Strong problem-solving and shop-floor leadership skills

• Should be hands-on, responsible and capable of independently managing a shift
