To meet our challenges we are looking for a Plant Production Supervisor within the Manufacturing team to be based at our Pantnagar unit.

Purpose

The purpose of Plant Production Supervisor is to ensure desired production is acheived as per the planned target within the existing resources.

Their mission

The role ensures desired production output is achieved as per the plan by following laid down SOP's and safety standards to ensure optimum production is done without any safety incidents and excess use of resources beyond the alloted numbers.

Key Accountabilities

Your experience and talent will make the difference to:

• To ensure the Raw Material, Chemicals, Packaging Material consumption planning for the month.
• To carry out the instructions issued by the production officers.
• To supervise the operations with the help of production operators.
• To ensure maintenance of equipment in good condition.
• To ensure good housekeeping and general upkeep of the section.
• To maintain the in process records in the designed log sheets and record books.
• To ensure that periodic samples are submitted to the laboratory or analysis.
• To receive and record the analytical findings and inform the officer for corrective action (if required).
• To keep the update of process and inform all exceptional matters to the Production officers.
• To ensure that issued work instruction are followed by every section operator.
• To instruct and get the equipment repaired in case of failure
• Accountable for the operation and activities carried in shift.
• To instruct and get the equipment repaired in case of failure.
• To ensure hygiene conditions and food safety norms in process area.
• To Maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to breakdowns within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.

Qualification

• Diploma/Degree in Chemical Engineering/ Food Technology/ Bio Chemical/ Industrial Engineering
• 4+ Yrs experience in manufacturing environment
