Production Supervisor

Role Description The Production Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Dadra & Nagar Haveli. This role oversees daily production activities on the shop floor, ensuring that manufacturing processes run safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards. Responsibilities include managing production teams, assigning tasks, monitoring output, and resolving issues that may affect delivery timelines or product quality. The Production Supervisor coordinates production schedules, tracks material usage, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and communicates clearly with cross-functional teams such as quality, maintenance, and logistics. The role also involves maintaining documentation, enforcing safety and compliance policies, and mentoring team members to enhance performance and productivity.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
• Experience with production planning and developing production schedules to meet output and delivery targets.
• Proficiency in production management, including workflow optimization, resource allocation, and process improvement.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with production staff, management, and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, preferably in cookware or consumer goods production.
• Understanding of safety standards, quality control practices, and basic lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to use production-related software or tools for reporting and tracking (e.g., Excel, ERP or MES systems).
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment is highly beneficial.
