Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Supervisor located in Hosur. The Production Supervisor will oversee daily production activities, manage production schedules, and ensure alignment with quality and efficiency targets. Responsibilities include developing and implementing production plans, supervising team members, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, identifying and addressing operational challenges, and maintaining regular communication with relevant stakeholders to coordinate workflows and report updates.

Key Responsabalaties

• Supervise daily production activities in the injection moulding department
• Plan and allocate manpower across shifts
• Ensure machines are running as per production plan
• Monitor cycle time, rejection, and productivity
• Troubleshoot moulding defects (short shot, flash, warpage, sink marks, etc.)
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and planning teams
• Ensure adherence to safety, 5S, and company policies
• Maintain production reports, shift logs, and documentation
• Train and guide machine operators and helpers
• Ensure proper mold changeover (SMED) and minimize downtime 

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and parameters

Experience in handling machines (Engel / Toshiba / Haitian / similar)

Good leadership and team handling skills

Knowledge of raw materials (PP, ABS, HDPE, Nylon, etc.)

Understanding of quality standards and defect analysis

Basic knowledge of TPM, Kaizen, and Lean manufacturing
