Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Staff role based at the Chennai facility. The Production Staff member will support daily manufacturing operations, including preparing materials, operating or assisting with machinery, and following production schedules to meet output targets. The role involves monitoring workstations, checking components for defects, and following quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe work area, complying with safety guidelines, and reporting any equipment issues or process deviations to supervisors. The Production Staff member will also participate in on-the-job training, follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), and collaborate with team members and line leaders to achieve production goals.
Qualifications

  • Ability to support Production Planning and follow production schedules and work instructions accurately.
  • Knowledge of Quality Control practices, with attention to detail in inspecting materials and finished products.
  • Basic understanding of Production Management concepts, such as workflow, output targets, and process efficiency.
  • Strong Communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, colleagues, and cross-functional teams on the shop floor.
  • Openness to Training, including learning new processes, tools, and safety protocols, and applying feedback consistently.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly environments is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, handle repetitive tasks, and follow safety and PPE requirements.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or related fields is an advantage.
