Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • • • • • • Manage manpower allocation, machine assignments, and raw material feeding across the shift to meet daily output schedules. Continuously monitor actual cycle times versus standard benchmarks, driving cycle optimization and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Control scrap and rejection levels; diagnose and troubleshoot injection defects (short shots, sink marks, flash, burn marks, warping). Coordinate mold changeovers, barrel heating, process setting adjustments, and robot take-out operations with technicians. Enforce shop-floor safety regulations, 5S standards, and continuous operational improvement (3M: Muda, Muri, Mura). Prepare comprehensive end-of-shift production, machine downtime, and material consumption reconciliation reports.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Processing Technology (CIPET or equivalent), or Polymer Engineering.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS 5–7 years supervisory experience in injection molding plant operations. Expertise in CPVC/PVC fitting molds and machine parameter setup
