The Production Planning Executive is a key member of the production planning team, responsible for optimizing production processes, managing resources, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective production of goods. This role involves coordinating with various departments to meet production targets and deliver high-quality products to customers. Key Responsibilities : Production Planning : Develop and execute production plans based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints. Ensure production schedules are aligned with customer orders and delivery deadlines. Resource Management : Allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production requirements. Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials and components. Optimization : Continuously monitor and analyze production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Quality Assurance : Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain high product quality standards. Ensure that production processes adhere to quality and safety regulations. Communication and Coordination : Facilitate communication between production, sales, and other relevant departments. Provide regular updates on production progress and potential delays. Inventory Management : Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize excess or obsolete stock. Implement inventory control measures to optimize working capital. Reporting and Analysis : Generate reports on production performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and production costs. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Capacity Planning : Assess production capacity and make recommendations for capacity expansion or adjustments as needed.
