Production Planning Control Manager

A PPC Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all production planning and shop floor activities to ensure efficient and timely production of goods. This role involves working closely with various teams such as production, warehouse, calibration, and sales to develop and execute production plans that align with business objectives. The PPC Assistant Manager is also responsible for identifying and resolving production issues, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Production Planning and Resource Optimization:

• Plan, manage, and control the shop floor activities for the entire range of OES & RDE, ensuring optimum utilization of resources. Escalate issues to management if abnormalities cannot be recovered.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze and report day/shift performance, reviewing with management any abnormalities and necessary actions to maintain production efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with the warehouse, production, calibration, and purchase teams to ensure material availability and alignment with the production plan.
• Collaborate with sales and service teams to develop yearly and monthly production plans based on S&OP/RoFo.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

• Drive continuous improvement programs by analyzing the cost of poor quality (CoPQ), identifying wastes, and applying Lean methodology to enhance productivity.

Compliance and Problem-Solving:

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, regulatory, and ISO requirements.
• Actively lead problem-solving initiatives on the shop floor through Lean Boot Camp and daily management practices.

Qualifications: BE – Electronics / Electrical /Mechanical/Instrumentation

Experience: 8-12 Years
