Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Production Planning & Control (PPC) professional to manage end-to-end production planning, scheduling, and control functions. The candidate must have hands-on experience in electronics accessories manufacturing and the ability to handle high-volume production with efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on demand forecasts and customer orders
• Ensure production plan adherence and monitor shop floor activities closely
• Coordinate with procurement, stores, quality, and dispatch teams for smooth workflow
• Manage raw material planning and ensure no production downtime due to shortages
• Track WIP (Work in Progress) and finished goods inventory levels
• Perform capacity planning, line balancing, and resource allocation
• Identify production bottlenecks and drive process improvements
• Prepare MIS reports, production dashboards, and variance analysis reports
• Ensure on-time delivery and optimize production efficiency
• Implement and follow Lean Manufacturing practices (5S, Kaizen, etc.)
• Work closely with the quality team to maintain product standards and compliance
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Strong experience in PPC within electronics manufacturing (mandatory)
• Hands-on exposure to data cable / mobile charger / adapter production lines
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally / Manufacturing ERP)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, MIS Reporting)
• Good understanding of supply chain and inventory management
• Knowledge of production planning tools, forecasting, and scheduling techniques
• Familiarity with Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methods
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent coordination and communication abilities
Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Production / Operations / Supply Chain
• MBA (Operations) – Preferred
Preferred Candidate Profile:
• Experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing setup
• Strong exposure to assembly line production (cables, chargers, PCB-based products)
• Proven ability to improve production efficiency and reduce wastage
• Candidates from similar industry background only will be considered
• Immediate joiners preferred
