Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Production Planner (PPC) to align production with customer demand, ensure optimal resource utilization, and drive on-time delivery through effective planning and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning Scheduling
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production plans based on forecasts
Optimize machine loading and capacity utilization
Monitor schedules and resolve delays
Coordinate with shop floor teams
Demand Supply Alignment
Align production with customer schedules and forecasts
Coordinate with Sales Customer Planners
Ensure material availability with Stores Purchase
Customer Coordination
Communicate delivery commitments
Handle schedule changes and priority orders
Resolve dispatch and planning-related concerns
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work with Production, Quality, Stores, Purchase Dispatch
Resolve bottlenecks (machine, manpower, material)
Inventory Material Planning
Monitor RM, WIP, FG inventory
Avoid stock-outs overstocking
Ensure timely procurement
Order Tracking Execution
Track production vs plan
Ensure timely dispatch readiness
Handle urgent orders efficiently
MIS Data Analysis
Prepare daily MIS reports (production, dispatch, backlog)
Use Advanced Excel (Pivot, XLOOKUP, formulas)
ERP/SAP reporting (preferred)
Cost Efficiency
Improve productivity and reduce idle time
Support cost optimization initiatives
Mandatory Screening Criteria
5+ years in PPC / Production Planning / Supply Chain
3+ years in Automotive / Auto Components industry
Strong shop floor coordination experience
Customer coordination exposure
Advanced Excel (must-have)
ERP / SAP knowledge (preferred)
