We are looking for an experienced Modular Furniture Production Planner with strong technical expertise in factory operations, cutlist preparation, and CAD interpretation. The candidate should have hands-on experience with modular furniture machinery and be capable of independently managing production planning from drawings to execution.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cutlists from design drawings using software like AutoCAD and optimization tools
- Interpret CAD drawings and convert them into production-ready data
- Plan and coordinate daily production activities for modular furniture
- Supervise machine operations (panel saw, edge bander, CNC, etc.)
- Manage and guide a team of carpenters and machine operators
- Ensure optimal material utilization with minimal wastage
- Monitor quality standards and reduce damage/rework
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a modular furniture manufacturing setup
- Strong hands-on experience with production machinery and processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and cutlist/optimization software
- Ability to independently prepare cutlists and production plans
- Good understanding of materials (plywood, MDF, laminates, hardware)
