Production & Operations Manager - Andheri Seepz - Jewellery Manufacturer(Exporter)

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Workforce Management: Lead, coach, and motivate production, PPC, and quality teams. Manage manpower allocation and workforce productivity to meet daily manufacturing targets.

Production & Operational Execution: Execute daily, weekly, and monthly export production plans on schedule. Optimize capacity across manpower, machinery, and materials while maintaining SOPs and safety (EHS) standards.

Quality Control & KPI Tracking: Oversee work-in-progress (WIP) to prevent downtime and enforce quality standards. Monitor key manufacturing metrics including OTIF (On-Time In-Full), productivity, efficiency, metal loss, and diamond loss, while driving cost-optimization initiatives.

Plant & Asset Management: Coordinate with maintenance to maximize equipment uptime, ensuring tools, machinery, and consumables are consistently available.

Cross-Functional Coordination & MIS Reporting: Collaborate with Sales, Product Development (PD), and EXIM teams for smooth operational flow. Review performance reports (MIS) and support management-driven process improvements and new project implementations.

Education & Qualifications:

• Graduate

• Diploma in Operations or Production Management will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• 10-14 years of experience in Jewellery manufacturing operations, including at least 3-

4 years in a managerial role.

• Proven experience in managing end-to-end production activities.

• Exposure to production planning, process improvement, and operational excellence.
