Food Technologist - Production Officer in Food Processing Industry

The Production Officer is responsible for executing and monitoring daily production activities to achieve planned production targets while ensuring optimum utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment. The role ensures adherence to product specifications, food safety, quality standards, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements.

Responsibility -

• Execute daily production activities as per the production plan, batch requirements, and product specifications.
• Monitor production processes, manpower, and equipment to achieve production targets with optimum resource utilization.
• Ensure correct usage of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials as per approved recipes and batch cards.
• Monitor process parameters and ensure compliance with GMP, GHP, SOPs, hygiene, and food safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance for in-process inspections, sampling, and resolution of quality deviations.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment and production areas.
• Allocate work to operators and monitor their productivity, discipline, and adherence to safe working practices.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for equipment breakdowns and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain production reports, batch records, material consumption, downtime, rejection, and wastage records.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental and waste-management practices.
