Jaey is India's first size-inclusive power-dressing brand - think Raymond, but for women.
We sell through our own website and marketplaces like Myntra, Nykaa Fashion, and Zilo.
As we scale, we're looking for someone to drive production execution and on-ground operations, ensuring everything from sourcing to final output runs smoothly.
This is a core execution role for someone who wants to learn how a fashion brand actually runs - beyond design, into real operations.
Who You Are
- You're highly organised and strong with execution and follow-ups
- You're comfortable handling vendors and pushing timelines when needed
- You're detail-oriented and don't let things slip
- You can manage multiple moving parts without losing track
- You're comfortable with on-ground work - markets, vendors, production units
- You take ownership instead of waiting for instructions
What You'll Own
Production Planning & Execution
- Supporting production planning and ensuring timelines are met
- Coordinating with vendors and job workers for smooth execution
- Tracking production progress and resolving delays or bottlenecks
- Ensuring output matches planned quantities and timelines
Vendor Follow-Ups & Coordination
- Daily follow-ups with vendors for production, sampling, and dispatches
- Acting as the main point of contact for execution-related communication
- Negotiating timelines and ensuring commitments are met
- Finding and onboarding new job workers/vendors when required
Billing & Reconciliation
- Handling vendor bills and maintaining proper records
- Basic reconciliation of payments and tracking outstanding amounts
- Ensuring operational accuracy in billing processes
Inventory Management
- Managing raw materials (fabrics, trims) and finished goods inventory
- Tracking stock movement between vendors, warehouse, and production
- Ensuring availability of materials as per production needs
Designer & Sourcing Support
- Assisting the designer with execution-related work
- Sourcing fabrics, trims, and materials from markets/vendors
- Coordinating sampling and ensuring required materials are available on time
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Operations, Merchandising, or related field
- Strong execution mindset with ability to handle on-ground work
- Comfortable with vendor interactions, follow-ups, and negotiations
- Basic Excel / Google Sheets skills for tracking and coordination
- Street-smart, proactive, and able to solve problems independently
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment
