PRODUCTION MERCHANDISER

Production Merchandiser Job Post

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Merchandiser with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in merchandising, preferably with designer brands. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a technical or design discipline from a recognized fashion institute.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate production schedules to meet order deadlines efficiently.

Collaborate closely with design, sourcing, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.

Prepare and oversee Bill of Materials (BOM), production files, and time and action calendars to keep production on track.

Liaise with suppliers to secure timely delivery of raw materials and trims, ensuring quality standards.

Conduct pre-production meetings and manage approvals for samples, trims, and subcontracted work.

Monitor production progress, resolve any delays or quality issues, and keep all stakeholders informed.

Ensure compliance with safety and quality specifications throughout the production process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, or related design/technical field from a fashion institute.

Minimum 3-4 years of experience in merchandising, with hands-on involvement with designer or premium brands.

Strong organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in managing production timelines and vendor coordination.

Knowledge of fabric, trims, and garment construction, along with experience in preparing tech packs and BOMs.

This role demands a proactive professional who can effectively bridge the gap between design and production to ensure timely and quality delivery of fashion products.
