Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on and execution-focused Production Manager to drive manufacturing operations from our Factory HQ. This role will be responsible for production planning, process efficiency, and ensuring timely output while maintaining quality and cost standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning & Execution
- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
- Ensure production targets are met as per demand forecasts
- Monitor output and optimize resource utilization
- Process & Efficiency Management
- Identify bottlenecks and improve production efficiency
- Drive process improvements to reduce wastage and downtime
- Ensure smooth functioning of all production lines
- Team Management
- Supervise and guide production teams and supervisors
- Ensure proper manpower planning and shift management
- Drive accountability and performance within the team
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and SOPs during production
- Work closely with the Quality team to address deviations
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory norms
- Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and warehouse teams
- Track production metrics and share regular MIS reports
- Ensure timely escalation of operational challenges
- Cost & Inventory Control
- Monitor production costs and drive cost optimization initiatives
- Ensure efficient usage of raw materials and minimize wastage
- Coordinate for inventory planning and control
Who We're Looking For
- 4–8 years of experience in production/manufacturing roles
- Strong experience in managing shop-floor operations
- Proven ability to handle teams and drive output
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on execution
Preferred Skills
- Experience in FMCG or manufacturing setups
- Understanding of production planning and process optimization
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
