The team collaborates closely with couples and families, creating mood boards and designs that reflect each client's vision and story. HOP offers both decor design and event planning services, focusing on listening, creating, and delivering memorable experiences. Founded by two creative minds, the company combines artistic customization with practical event execution to bring unique decor ideas to life.
Role Description The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end production of event decor projects, from initial planning through on-site execution and post-event wrap-up. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Jaipur, with a mix of on-site work at venues and studio, as well as some work-from-home for planning, coordination, and documentation. Day-to-day tasks include managing production schedules, coordinating with vendors and internal design teams, supervising fabrication and installation of decor elements, and ensuring quality standards and timelines are met. The Production Manager will monitor budgets and resource allocation, manage inventories and logistics, and handle on-site troubleshooting during events. This role also involves improving production processes, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and contributing ideas to enhance overall client experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in production or operations management within events, decor, design, or a related creative industry.
- Strong project planning and scheduling skills, with the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and priorities.
- Vendor and team management skills, including coordination, negotiation, and leadership of on-site crews.
- Proficiency in basic budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation for event production.
- Ability to interpret design concepts, mood boards, and technical requirements, and translate them into practical production plans.
- Solid problem-solving skills and calm decision-making under time pressure and changing on-site conditions.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, designers, planners, and vendors.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup, with flexibility for evening, weekend, and outstation event work as required.
- Prior experience in wedding or social event production in Jaipur or similar markets is an advantage.
- Relevant education in event management, production, design, or operations is preferred but not mandatory when balanced by strong experience.
