Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Manager based in Mumbai. The Production Manager will oversee daily studio operations, ensure quality control, manage production schedules, and coordinate workflow to meet project deadlines. The role also involves maintaining equipment, supervising the production team, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The candidate will work closely with designers and artisans to ensure seamless fulfillment of creative and production goals.

Key Responsibilities

·       Oversee daily production activities for lighting, glass, and metal works.

·       Plan and monitor schedules, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.

·       Manage vendor and supplier on-boarding, negotiations, and quality audits.

·       Supervise in-house production setup and a site team of 7–8 electricians/installers.

·       Implement and maintain quality control processes across materials and finishes.

·       Develop Excel-based tracking systems for costing, scheduling, and reporting.

·       Introduce project management software (e.g., Monday.com, Click-Up, or Asana) for workflow optimization.

·       Liaise with design, project, and logistics teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

·       Degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Design, Architecture, or related field.

·       5–8 years experience in production, project, or execution management (preferably in lighting or interiors).

·       Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with project management tools.

·       Strong communication, multitasking, and team management skills.

·       Working knowledge of fabrication techniques, materials & Finishes in glass, metal, and lighting.

·       Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

·       Experience in Exhibition Design/Management/Setup preferred.
