Job Summary
The Solar Modules Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end manufacturing process of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules. This role ensures production efficiency, quality compliance, cost optimization, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Management
Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities for solar module manufacturing.
Ensure production targets are achieved in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines.
Monitor production KPIs and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
2. Process Optimization
Identify and implement process improvements to increase yield and reduce waste.
Optimize line balancing, cycle times, and equipment utilization.
Introduce lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
3. Team Leadership
Lead, train, and manage production staff, supervisors, and engineers.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Conduct performance evaluations and skill development programs.
4. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare production reports, MIS, and performance dashboards.
Maintain accurate documentation of processes and production records.
Present performance insights to senior management.
