Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, overseeing end-to-end production activities for interior design projects. This position is responsible for planning and scheduling work, coordinating with design, procurement, and execution teams, and ensuring that materials, labor, and timelines align with project requirements. The Production Manager monitors quality standards on-site, resolves operational challenges, and maintains clear communication with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders. The role includes managing budgets, tracking progress against milestones, and ensuring safety and compliance with company policies. The Production Manager also drives continuous improvement in production processes to support timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of projects.
Qualifications
- Experience in production or project management within interior design, construction, or related industries.
- Strong skills in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for multiple concurrent projects.
- Ability to manage on-site operations, supervise teams, and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
- Working knowledge of materials, finishes, fabrication processes, and installation practices used in interiors.
- Proficiency in using project management tools, spreadsheets, and basic design or CAD software is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and willingness to be present on-site as needed.
