Job Description

• Job Purpose
  
  

To manage and control the complete glass mosaic manufacturing process, ensuring production targets, product quality, manpower utilization, safety, cost control, and timely dispatch are achieved as per company standards.

• Key Responsibilities
• Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
• Manage the complete glass mosaic production process, including raw material preparation, cutting, forming, finishing, sorting, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned time and cost.
• Monitor product quality and reduce rejection, wastage, and production losses.
• Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of machines, tools, and production equipment.
• Manage manpower allocation, attendance, shift planning, and productivity.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, PPC, and Dispatch departments.
• Ensure availability and proper utilization of raw materials and packing materials.
• Identify production problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain production records, reports, and other required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and customer specifications.
• Implement 5S, housekeeping, productivity improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure all employees follow safety rules and use appropriate PPE.
• Train and develop production employees and supervisors.
• Investigate customer complaints related to production quality and take corrective action.
• Monitor and improve machine efficiency, production yield, and overall productivity.

• Qualification & Experience
• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field.
• 5–10 years of experience in glass, mosaic, tiles, ceramics, or similar manufacturing industries.
• Experience in production planning, manpower management, quality control, and machine operations.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting systems.
