The opportunity
Manufacturing Production manages or assists with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including Planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources. Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
How you'll make an impact
Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for dry bushings (RIP/RIS).
Ensure strict adherence to process parameters, work instructions, and SOPs.
Support engineering in process optimization, new product introduction (NPI), and design changes.
Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with EHS and statutory requirements.
Promote safety culture, conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and audits.
Ensure proper handling of resins, chemicals, ovens, and high‑voltage test areas.
Control manufacturing costs, scrap, and consumables.
Drive lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Improve cycle time, yield, and first‑pass quality.
Support capacity expansion and debottlenecking activities.
Lead and develop production team.
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high‑performance team culture.
Work closely with Quality, Engineering, SCM, Sales, and Dispatch teams.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering
10-15 years in manufacturing and minimum 2 years in HV/EHV bushings or similar insulation products.
Strong understanding of dry bushing technology (RIP/RIS) will have added advantages
