Role Description
We are looking for a highly organized and execution-driven Production Manager to lead and manage end-to-end production activities.The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of production operations, including supervising fabrication work, managing relationships with vendors, and ensuring smooth execution of projects.The ideal candidate should have strong experience in production houses, fabrication units, or project-based execution environments, with hands-on supervision skills and an ownership mindset. Responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, meeting project timelines, maintaining quality standards, and addressing operational challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage complete production schedules from concept to final installation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per approved specifications.
- Oversee Fabrication & Monitor productivity and ensure quality standards are maintained, by effective material utilization and reduce wastage.
- Identify, evaluate, reliable vendors and fabrication partners & negotiate pricing and contracts to achieve cost efficiency.
- Coordinate procurement of raw materials and specialized components ensuring timely availability of materials to avoid project delays.
- Supervise on-site execution and logistics, transport, and manpower planning for installations.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company guidelines & maintain documentation for production processes and approvals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Production / Industrial Management or related field.
- 510 years of experience in production management, fabrication, or project execution.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills to oversee production work and ensure efficient operations
- Experience in fabrication processes, project execution supervision, and coordinating with vendors
- Knowledge of materials, supply chain management, and vendor sourcing
- Proficiency in software tools used for project management and reporting is a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities to effectively manage team dynamics and address challenges
- Experience working in production or related industries is an added advantage
