Role Description
1. Production Operations Management
- Lead and oversee daily operations of stationary cell production lines, ensuring full alignment with production plans, schedules, and output targets.
- Maintain stable and efficient production flow while meeting quality and delivery commitments.
2. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 methodologies.
- Optimize processes to enhance productivity, improve yield, and reduce operational costs.
3. Performance & KPI Management
- Monitor, analyze, and report key production metrics (KPIs).
- Identify gaps, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure sustainable performance improvements.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Technology, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth and consistent manufacturing operations.
- Facilitate effective communication to resolve operational challenges in a timely manner.
5. Resource Planning & Optimization
- Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Maximize resource utilization while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing production demands.
6. EHS & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards.
- Maintain full compliance with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
7. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing production team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
8. Capacity Expansion & Ramp-up
- Support commissioning and start-up activities for new production lines.
- Lead capacity ramp-up initiatives to meet increasing production demands.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- 1518 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in:
- Lithium-ionbatterycell manufacturing
- Advanced materials or electrochemical production environments
- Proven track record in managing large-scale, high-volume production operations.
- Experience in stationary energy storage or similar industrial manufacturing is a strong advantage.
