We're looking for an experienced Production Head with 15+ years of hands-on experience in loose furniture and architectural millwork manufacturing. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end production, leading factory teams, resolving technical issues, and ensuring every product meets TIS Living's quality and craftsmanship standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end production of custom loose furniture, wardrobes, paneling, doors, and millwork.
- Plan and monitor production schedules, manpower, materials, and project timelines.
- Lead and manage production managers, supervisors, craftsmen, and factory teams.
- Coordinate with Design, Draughting, Procurement, QC, and Project teams.
- Review production drawings and ensure designs are technically feasible for manufacturing.
- Identify and resolve production, material, joinery, hardware, and finishing issues.
- Conduct quality checks at different stages of production and before dispatch.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy, finishing quality, workmanship, and approved design standards.
- Drive timely completion of multiple projects without compromising quality.
- Continuously improve production processes, productivity, and quality standards.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in furniture manufacturing.
- Mandatory experience in both loose furniture and architectural millwork.
- Strong experience in custom/bespoke furniture manufacturing, preferably for luxury residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of wood, veneer, laminates, finishes, upholstery, hardware, joinery, and furniture construction.
- Strong hands-on QC and quality inspection experience.
- Ability to read and interpret furniture production drawings.
- Strong team leadership and production planning skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, and MS Excel.
- Strong coordination skills with design, production, procurement, QC, and installation teams.
