Job Title: Production Engineer
Reporting To: Production Manager / Plant Head
Location: Palsana, Surat
Experience Required: 2–4 Years
Educational Qualification:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related field
Key Responsibilities:- Execute daily production schedules and work orders
- Monitor production progress to ensure timely completion of targets
- Optimize utilization of manpower, machines, and materials
- Supervise operators and technicians during production activities
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and process standards
- Resolve line-level issues and provide hands-on technical support
- Coordinate with maintenance and design teams for smooth workflow
- Assist in troubleshooting and process improvements
- Support quality audits and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Maintain daily production reports and shift logs
- Record machine breakdowns, downtime, material consumption, rejection, rework, and wastage data
Skills Required:- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, VMC, conventional machines)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Leadership and coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
- Strong problem-solving ability
