PRODUCTION ENGINEER – THERMOFORMING

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.-4–6 years of experience in plastic manufacturing, with strong experience in thermoforming production.

Experience

4 – 6 years of experience in plastic manufacturing, with strong experience in thermoforming production.  Strong experience in PET/PP thermoforming production.  Good knowledge of thermoforming machines, molds, heating, vacuum, cooling, and process parameters.  Experience in troubleshooting, production optimization, and reducing scrap and downtime.  Ability to monitor production performance and improve machine eAiciency.  Good communication and problem-solving skills. Strong computer skills, particularly Excel and production reporting systems ERP.  Monitor machine breakdowns and coordinate with Maintenance to minimize downtime.  Prepare production reports covering output, eAiciency, scrap, and downtime.  Support and guide machine operators to ensure proper operating procedures are followed.  Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce material consumption, and reduce cycle and changeover times.  Preferred: Experience with TTF, Gabler, Illig, WM, Kiefel, or similar thermoforming machines.
