Position 1: Press Shop Engineer
Location: Vadodara, Gujarat
Experience: 37 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering
Department: Press Shop
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor hydraulic and mechanical presses for sheet metal component production
Handle die changeovers, machine settings, and perform quality inspections
Ensure adherence to production targets, safety norms, and quality standards
Drive lean manufacturing practices, monitor OEE, and reduce downtime and rejections
Coordinate with maintenance/tooling teams for timely issue resolution
Support NPD trials and process optimization initiatives
Skills Required
Experience in deep drawing, blanking, and progressive dies
Strong knowledge of press tonnage, die setup, and troubleshooting
Proficiency in 5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, and other quality tools
