Job Title: Manufacturing Production Engineer
Location: Umargam, Gujarat
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and organising production schedules
- Oversee daily operations to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and within budget
- Implement and maintain best practices for manufacturing processes and equipment utilisation.
- Renegotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation. Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
- Assessing project and resource requirements
- Monitor production to resolve issues
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
- Overseeing production processes
- Overseeing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
- Supervising and managing the work of junior staff
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing management, with a proven track record of successful plant operations.
- Candidates preferred from the PEB/ Machine manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems relevant to manufacturing.
- Skills:
- Deep knowledge of production management
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Knowledge of budgeting concepts
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
