Job Summary:
A Junior Production Engineer in the Transformers Radiator Division supports the manufacturing and assembly of radiators used in power transformers. The role focuses on ensuring smooth production operations, maintaining quality standards, improving efficiency, and coordinating with cross-functional teams like design, quality, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing daily production activities for radiator manufacturing.
- Monitor production processes such as fin pressing, tube expansion, welding, assembly, and leak testing.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications for transformer radiators.
- Support troubleshooting of production issues and minimize downtime.
- Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure machine availability.
- Implement and follow lean manufacturing and 5S practices on the shop floor.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company policies.
- Work closely with the quality team to address defects and implement corrective actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes such as welding, fabrication, and heat transfer systems.
