Production Engineer

The Production Engineer will play a key role in ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient manufacturing

operations . This role involves overseeing day-to-day production activities, maintaining

compliance with quality and safety standards, and optimizing resources to meet production targets. The

ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing both people and processes to

deliver consistent results. From driving process improvements to ensuring cross-functional coordination,

the Production Engineer will be essential in helping WattPower meet its operational goals and maintain

industry-leading quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage overall production activities and achieve production targets.

Ensure production and manpower safety on the shop floor.

Ensure material availability for production and manage WIP (Work In Progress) inventory

effectively

Ensure compliance of production processes with prescribed ISO standards and 5S practices

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production and quality

issues, minimizing downtime.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (CFT) to ensure timely resolution of issues

Evaluate team members performance daily.

Manage operators attendance.

Develop multi-skilling capabilities among operators.

Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond accordingly.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Electronics) with a minimum of 3 years of

experience.

Proficiency in MS Office.

Experience in production management.

Strong leadership abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to make sound decisions based on situational analysis

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Skilled in team management and employee empowerment.
