Crystal Work is hiring an experienced Production Engineer (Civil) to manage and oversee factory production operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling the complete production process of paver blocks, culvert boxes, and chequered tiles, ensuring compliance with approved designs, BIS standards, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day production activities within the factory.
- Ensure all products meet approved design specifications and BIS quality standards.
- Supervise and manage labour teams to maintain efficiency and quality output.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth production operations.
- Maintain factory records and documentation as per BIS compliance requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to production and materials.
- Interpret drawings, designs, and technical specifications accurately.
- Prepare and maintain production logs, material consumption records, and quality check reports.
- Conduct quantity estimations and ensure optimum resource utilization.
- Verify contractor/vendor bills related to production materials and services.
- Ensure timely and high-quality execution of all production tasks.
- Travel to project locations when required and coordinate with site teams.
- Maintain clear communication with management, vendors, and project stakeholders.
Required Skills & Competencies- Strong knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals, construction materials, and production processes.
- Experience in manufacturing of precast products (paver blocks, culvert boxes, etc.).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, drawing interpretation, and relevant engineering software.
- Good understanding of surveying, quantity take-off, and estimation.
- Excellent leadership, labour management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate production documentation and compliance records.
- Willingness to travel and stay at project locations as required.
Experience Required3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction, precast, or civil production industry.
