Production Engineer will be responsible to prepare technical documents such as Block Division Plan, Hull Support Plan and Lifting/ Turning Plans. It also involves requirement of intricate Feasibility Studies, critical 3D Model inspection, as well as modelling and preparation of fixture drawings, becoming the connecting bridge between Design and Production.
Production Engineer should have following skills
Technical Skills
- Ability to read and understand ship's production drawings and documents
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- Have knowledge of preparing 3D models in Solid works
- Have a brief stint on the usage of various applications in MS Office
Leadership And Management Skills
- Troubleshooting issues and provide a technical and safe solutions within short durations
- Good time management with the workload
- Proactively look for areas of improvement and make relevant changes
- Should be in constant communication with relevant stakeholders to avoid any bottlenecks and ensure a smooth workflow

Safety and Compliance
- Ensure basic modification drawings are made based on IACS

- Always ensure relevant and undamaged PPE is worn while visiting shop floors or onboard a vessel
