Job Summary

The Production Executive is responsible for planning and scheduling production activities to ensure timely delivery of products while meeting production targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The role involves analysing production data, coordinating with multiple manufacturing units for raw material availability, and ensuring uninterrupted production through effective planning and communication.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand and production capacity.

· Prepare and monitor production schedules to ensure on-time completion of manufacturing activities.

· Analyse production data and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall KPI performance.

· Monitor production KPIs such as output, OEE, productivity, downtime, yield, and schedule adherence, and initiate corrective actions where required.

· Coordinate with Stores, Procurement, Planning, and other manufacturing units to ensure timely availability of raw materials.

· Follow up with inter-unit teams to ensure materials are received as per the production schedule.

· Optimise resource utilisation, including manpower, machines, and materials, to achieve production targets.

· Review production performance and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.

· Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production-related issues.

· Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company operating procedures.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce production losses.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree (Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical

· 1-3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.

· Good understanding of production planning, inventory management, and manufacturing processes.
