Job Description

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a dynamic Engineer / Executive Engineer to manage production and maintenance activities in the E-Beam section of our Rubber CCV manufacturing facility. The role involves ensuring smooth plant operations, achieving production targets, maintaining product quality, and driving operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor CCV/E-Beam equipment during shift operations.
  • Achieve production targets while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
  • Monitor product loading/unloading and maintain process parameters as per specifications and SOPs.
  • Maintain accurate production records and process documentation.
  • Analyze process data and implement productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Investigate process deviations, non-conformances, and customer-related quality issues.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote incident-free operations.
  • Support training and skill development of operators.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • 2-3 years of experience in Rubber Cable Manufacturing
  • Experience working on CCV lines up to 69 kV

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Rubber Cross-Linking materials and processes
  • Understanding of UL, IEC, ASTM, and IS standards
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S practices
  • IMS (Integrated Management System) knowledge
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and team management capabilities
