IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Production Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Production Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and maintenance of our Content Management System (CMS) and ensuring its smooth functioning. This is a full-time position located in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the production and maintenance of the CMS, ensuring its availability, reliability, and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any production issues
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the CMS
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation
- Train and mentor junior production engineers, providing guidance and support as needed
- Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on the status of the CMS
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production engineering, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of Content Management Systems, specifically in a banking environment
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell
- Familiarity with database management and SQL
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player with the ability to lead and mentor others
