Production Engineer

To check drawings.

• To check BOM as per the drawings.
• To prepare indent of material, as per approved BOM & check availability with the store.
• To ensure proper flow of production with respect to drawings and check resources.
• To carry out stage-wise inspection of the job as per internal QC and approved QAP.
• Make necessary arrangements for dispatch of the job.
• Ensuring proper housekeeping & safe working environment on the shop floor.
• Should be able to achieve the production targets.
• Co-ordinate with third party inspection.
• Handle the contractor teams to achieve production dispatch on or before the desired date & time.
• Should have knowledge of welding and weld consumable.
• List of equipment s to be handled: - API storage tanks, columns, pressure vessel, heat exchangers, reactors (agitated) etc.
• Should have knowledge of construction material for all equipments.
• Should have knowledge of ASME U stamp procedures to execute the job on the shop floor.
• Should have knowledge of plate layout preparation in AutoCAD.
• Should have knowledge of manufacturing processes like forming, materials, cutting etc.
• To prepare & achieve production plans / flowcharts.
