Job Description
Shapercult is a women's innerwear and confidence-wear brand built around one simple idea: confidence worn bold. We create a large volume of visual content across social media, campaigns, product launches and marketplaces—and we're looking for a Production Assistant / Stylist who wants to work on professional shoots that are planned and executed from start to finish. This is a hands-on role for someone who is organised, visually aware and excited about production.
What you'll do
Plan shoots
- Understand content requirements and convert them into shoot plans.
- Create moodboards, visual references and styling references.
- Help plan shot lists, outfits, props, locations and production requirements.
- Prepare all shoot-related checklists and ensure nothing is missed.
Coordinate end-to-end production
- Coordinate with models, photographers, makeup artists, hair stylists and other vendors.
- Manage shoot schedules and communicate call times and requirements.
- Ensure products, outfits, accessories, props and equipment are ready before the shoot.
- Assist with location scouting and logistics where required.
- Be present on shoot days and help ensure everything runs smoothly.
Styling
- Assist with styling models and creating complete looks based on the creative direction.
- Prepare outfit combinations, accessories and props.
- Ensure products are presented correctly and consistently.
- Build styling references for upcoming shoots.
- Develop an understanding of fashion, proportions, colours and visual storytelling.
On-set execution
- Assist the creative/production team during shoots.
- Keep track of the planned shots and ensure requirements are covered.
- Coordinate quick changes between looks/setups.
- Troubleshoot small production issues on the spot.
- Help maintain organisation throughout the shoot.
Post-shoot
- Organise shoot assets and coordinate with the relevant team members for post-production.
- Maintain shoot documentation, references and production checklists.
- Help ensure deliverables are received on time.
What we're looking for
- Fresher to 1–2 years of experience in fashion, styling, photography, production, advertising or a related field.
- Strong visual sense and interest in fashion/content/photography.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Comfortable working on-location and on shoot days.
- Someone who can manage multiple small tasks without losing track of the bigger picture.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Basic knowledge of tools such as Canva, Pinterest, Google Sheets or similar is a plus.
Most importantly
We are not looking for someone who only assists.
We want someone who can gradually take ownership of production, from: Idea → Moodboard → Planning → Coordination → Shoot → Execution → Delivery
You don't need to know everything on Day 1. But you should be curious, proactive and willing to figure things out. If you see a problem, we expect you to try solving it, not just report it. Bonus: Photography experience, fashion/styling education, production experience or a strong personal portfolio/Instagram showcasing visual work.
