As we scale production across multiple partner factories in Mumbai, we are looking for someone who can take ownership of daily production supervision, quality control, and sample development across units.

Role Overview

This is a field-heavy role involving visits to multiple garment factories across Mumbai to supervise production, ensure strict quality standards, and coordinate the development of new samples.

You will act as the eyes and ears of Senses on the factory floor, ensuring our products are manufactured exactly as intended and that new ideas are translated into well-executed samples.

Key Responsibilities

Visit partner factories across Mumbai on a daily basis

Monitor production stages including cutting, stitching, finishing, ironing, and packing

Conduct random quality checks during different stages of manufacturing

Ensure factories follow Senses quality standards and specifications

Identify defects and coordinate immediate corrections with factory supervisors

Track production progress and update the internal team regularly

Sample Development

Work with the founder and team to develop new product samples

Help translate design ideas into actual garments using available fabrics

Coordinate with factories to create proto samples and revised samples

Suggest practical improvements in fit, trims, stitching, or construction

Ensure sampling timelines are maintained

Factory Coordination

Maintain discipline and accountability across partner factories

Ensure correct trims, labels, and packaging are used

Report delays, issues, or inconsistencies in production

Share photos/videos and daily reports with the Senses team

Ideal Candidate

26 years experience in garment production, sampling, or merchandising

Strong understanding of t-shirt / polo manufacturing processes

Experience working with garment factories in Mumbai

Comfortable traveling daily between factories via train / public transport

Detail-oriented with a strong eye for quality and finishing

Able to communicate effectively with factory masters, tailors, and supervisors

Practical understanding of garment construction and sampling

What This Role Requires

Daily travel across multiple factories in Mumbai

Time spent on factory floors, not office desks

Strong observation skills and discipline

Ability to work independently and take ownership
